5 ways to get in shape with a mobile phone

Combining a variety of training devices with mobile phones, we will do what? That’s right – a brief overview of the five ways to get in shape with your mobile device.

The Samsung cooperation project with the sports giant Adidas has become a confident winner. miCoach combines a Samsung mobile phone with a heart rate monitor, a pedometer and, together with a special holder, is perfect for any workout. Using the special miCoach button on the handset and personal web page, you can enter the entire workout program, your level of training and the line of the heart. It remains only to buy a phone, or to subscribe to the contract terms of connection of the mobile operator.

A free application with a web support program gives you access to your already developed workout plans and tracks your progress. The application is compatible with a large selection of phones, for example, with BlackBerry, providing integrated GPS capabilities. The application tracks key parameters such as jog length, average speed and pace, determining the degree of warm-up and overall load. In addition, information about their success can be obtained as a graph by simply pressing a button.

The application is available for installation on some Nokia models, as well as for free download for compatible phones. Nokia Sports Tracker also has the advantage of using GPS to monitor sporting activity and record results. Available for download from the website. You can find the application on the new model N79 Active, complete with a Polar cardiomonitor on the belt.

Less specialized than the previously presented proposals, the W710 and W580 models use the built-in motion sensor as a pedometer to record the number of steps and the distance traveled. This data can then be analyzed using the Fitness Result Manager. This is a less functional proposition, but it has its advantages: the ease of working on a treadmill – you do not need GPS.

The free StepTrak Lite app for iPhone and iPod Touch counts your steps just like a pedometer. You can set it to control both walking and jogging, and listen to the results with a cheerful message at the touch of a button. And, of course, the same time you are listening to your favorite music. The application records the results in expanded form, but if you take the call and continue the session, alas, the application will not be able to keep track of you. Hitya, if you are seriously determined to get in shape – do not be distracted, that is how you will achieve what you want.
